Sloths
Maybe I've been under a rock, but I had no idea how popular these little guys have become. Do crazes spread so fast because of our connected digital lives? Are sloths really just the next owl? Or is it something deeper like our desire to slow down amidst the chaos and speed of life in 2014?
Either way. I must not live completely under a rock...because I was inspired to draw some sloths for reasons unbeknownst to me. I started with some watercolor minis, and those led to a couple more developed pieces. And it also led to a tee shirt design for the Portland Cello Project. I still don't know what it's all about, but I also know that after falling into the youtube rabbit hole of sloth videos I can't not love them.
